Proud Member of SPASA Australia
1 Pool Care has held SPASA accreditation since 2017. SPASA, the Swimming Pool and Spa Association, is the peak industry body representing pool and spa professionals across Australia. Membership is not automatic. Businesses must demonstrate current insurance, qualified workmanship and a commitment to the association’s code of conduct before accreditation is granted.
For pool owners in Perth, choosing a SPASA-accredited provider means the technician at your poolside meets a verified standard of competence and accountability. It also means access to a formal disputes process if something goes wrong, something most unaccredited operators cannot offer.
What Our SPASA Accreditation Means for You
Verified insurance and qualifications — every technician on our team carries the insurances and certifications that SPASA requires. You are never left exposed if an incident occurs during a service visit or equipment installation.
Industry code of conduct — SPASA members operate under a published code that covers honest quoting, transparent communication and professional behaviour. We welcomed that standard because it reflects how Adrian and Jo have run the business from day one.
Ongoing industry training — SPASA provides its members with access to technical updates, product bulletins and regulatory changes. When pool safety legislation changes in Western Australia or a manufacturer releases a revised installation procedure, we hear about it early and adjust our processes before it affects your pool.
Consumer protection — if a dispute arises between a pool owner and a SPASA member, the association offers a mediation pathway. That layer of protection does not exist with unaccredited operators, where your only option is a civil claim.
We pursued SPASA accreditation two years after founding the business because we wanted our customers to have more than just our word. The accreditation gives Perth pool owners an independent benchmark they can check before booking a service, and it holds us to a standard we are proud to exceed every day.
You can verify our membership directly on the SPASA Australia website.
