Pool Lights
Most pool owners in Perth do not think about pool lights until one fails and the kids stop swimming after dark. Halogen fittings are being phased out across Australia and parts are harder to source. Led pool lights run 30,000 to 50,000 hours, use a fraction of the power, and the colour options turn a pool into something you want to sit beside at night. Adrian and Jo Mole have been fitting swimming pool lights in Perth since 2003. 1 Pool Care is SPASA accredited and family run, and we stock the Spa Electrics range at Burns Beach alongside pool covers, pool supplies and pool equipment.
Why Halogen Is Costing You More Than You Realise
If your pool still runs halogen, every hour those globes are on is money you did not need to spend. A light emitting diode fitting draws 15 to 35 watts versus 100 to 300 for halogen. On a Synergy bill, that adds up. The energy efficiency advantage means LED lights also run cooler, reducing heat damage to the light cavity and seal. In concrete pools a cracked seal lets water into the niche and corrodes the transformer wiring. We have pulled fittings from Scarborough pools where salt air had eaten through the wiring so badly the niche needed rebuilding. In fibreglass pools the cavity is moulded into the shell, so replacement is easier but you still want a rated fitting.
Adrian checks the niche before recommending new lights.

What 1 Pool Care Stocks
We carry Spa Electrics because their products are designed in Australia and suit light cavity sizes commonly found in Perth pools. Every unit on our page is on display so you can check colours before you buy.
The PRO Series is the top choice with multiple colours and a built in controller for enhancing the pool area. The Photon GK Series suits owners who want a solid white led light without colour functionality. It is energy efficient with easy installation into existing pools. The Quantum WN and EM Atom Series offer solid performance across concrete and fibreglass pools. The AG ARGON handles above ground setups with ease, and the Atom EmP Pond Series suits water features.
Replacing Halogen With LED In Existing Pools
Most existing pools in Duncraig, Wanneroo and Burns Beach were built with halogen in a standard niche. Spa Electrics led lights retrofit into those niches so you do not need to cut the pool wall or hire a builder. Adrian removes the old fitting and installs the new unit in under an hour.
Safety matters. WA regulations require a licensed electrician to connect or replace the transformer. Adrian coordinates with a sparky when needed so you do not organise two trades. George Ribarich in Joondalup came to us after another company quoted a full niche rebuild on his concrete pool. Adrian inspected it and the cavity was intact. The seal had failed, nothing more. George got great new lights for a fraction of the other quote. That is 1 Pool Care. Expert advice and the right fix, not work you do not need.
